Addicted to Old Navy.

But seriously though. Can we take a moment to appreciate this:

I've seen it about 20 times and still I laugh at it. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is hilarious in these commercials!

Hokay, back to the point, I should not be signed up for Old Navy emails. They always, ALWAYS have amazing deals going on. I just snagged a super cute pair of distressed boyfriend maternity jeans for a little over half off and a super comfy dress for under $8. BUT before that, they had their kids and baby sale... and I had a coupon... and some super cash (which by the way they are giving out right now - $10 for every $25 you spend!)

So anyhoo, I obviously needed to stock up on a few items for Andrew. I lingered for a few moments in the baby section but I need to at least wait until we know if we're having a boy or girl to buy anything, right? That's what convinced me to walk away anyways.

Here are the items I got for the little man. His 3T clothes are getting a bit snug and believe it or not in a bit here even Florida is going to be on the cooler side, so I got some "winter" clothes. I also usually take advantage of the after Christmas deals to stock up on his summer clothes as well!

...I'll need to get him a few more tops (especially since he rarely gets put in pants at home) and we need a new pair of dress shoes as well, and probably a pair of sneakers - he doesn't fit in to any of his current shoes other than his sandals. Hmmm maybe when Payless has another BOGO promotion I will have to take advantage of that ;)

Well, TTFN <3

Oh and P.s. If you haven't already signed up for Ebates.com, you really should. You get money back for all your online shopping - even car rentals, hotels, airfare, etc! It's free to join AND they list coupons for every store you shop at :)

Our weekend!

Well, I didn't take many pictures but here's what I've got.

This weekend we tried to relax a lot and just have fun. SO, Friday we stayed in with a movie, Saturday we grilled hot dogs and made s'mores at the pool, and Sunday we stayed out all day!

First we went to Granny's house, helped her set up a few things and hung out, then we went to the mall which unfortunately was closing (sigh), and then out for pizza and watched some planes coming in.

Very low key but that's how we like it.

Hope you had a great weekend break! TTFN <3

What we've been up to lately...

Photo dump!
We took Andrew to see the Spongebob Movie - he loved it, sat quietly, ate a TON of popcorn, and was smiling the whole time!

I made munchkin some edible playdough and we cut out shapes (definitely want to get some little tools for him to play more next time)

Went shopping at Wiregrass/ rode the train with daddy!

Andrew got some awesome light-up Paw Patrol sneakers for soccer

Also here are our mommy-and-me TOMS shoes, and hubby's new watch for work

Then recently we went to music class downtown, found an awesome playground/water park/ice cream shoppe/pier and then went to a free day at the Glazier Children's Museum:

Had to go buy a new trash can and pillow for Andrew. His grandparents bought him this sweet puppy pillow pet back a while and Andrew LOVED it. Literally, he refuses to lay down to sleep without it. SO, when it had been peed on a million times and it's nose was super dirty we decided we really needed to replace it. I was super worried that he would be upset since it would be different (they didn't have any of the puppy dog left) but he picked out a seal and held it all the way home and is now obsessed with the new one. I still snuck his old one out while Jesse distracted him though haha!

Andrew Fashion - Church, June 29

So, we put Andrew in this checkered button-up and plaid pants for Church this past weekend. He also wore his "Dressy" sandals (see here). I should have taken a photo in the morning when he was buttoned up all the way and tucked into his pants.... WAY cuter, haha.
This was shortly before lunch so he was kind of restless and moving way too fast for a photo shoot. Anyways, the top was originally from Burlington Coat Factory - similar in "Elephant" Gray here.
Similar Pants here.

Weekend adventures!

Hokay, so long story short, the reasons why I have been MIA lately are: we've had lots of out-of-state visitors, busy schedules, appointments galore and yes even some pretty substantial personal issues going on so far in 2014. BUT we're not going to talk about that, we're going to talk about the weekend  :)

Friday we spent home, went for a long walk and made some yummy peach smoothies -- Andrew's first smoothie! And he LOVED it, Even "asked" for more, haha

Saturday was quite full. We went to a member's only event at the zoo....

They had a special Sea Lion show/ free pictures with Stella and Kitty, and we purchased our own little stuffed Stella ;)

They had VERY fishy breath ;)

Later, we went to Walmart, Whole Foods, Target, Payless and Lenscrafters. We were able to get all the groceries, new sneakers for me and some good boots for Andrew and I got 2 scratch-free pairs of glasses, yay!

My husband went to pick up my car from it's oil change and then we became couch potatoes for the rest of the day.

Sunday we slept in so we missed going to church BUT we did go to Bok Tower gardens! It's their 85th year and it is peak season, so we walked around admiring flowers and lounged in the shade by the tower blowing bubbles and walking the little man all over.

Had to end the evening with Shamrock Shakes, of course ;-P

In other news, I *think* we have our travel plans completed. We're flying to Minnesota for 2 weeks for my brother-in-law's wedding next month and we're so excited! They are Andrew's godparents and it'll also be the first time Andrew is at a big family event so it'll be lots of fun!

Alright, off to clean! I am definitely going through one of my OCD phases again haha
