40 weeks... and baby officially has been given an eviction notice ;)

"Congratulations! This week marks the official end of your pregnancy. Your baby probably weighs anywhere from six to nine pounds and measures between 19 and 22 inches (though tons of perfectly healthy babies are smaller or bigger). The bones in his skull haven’t fused yet.— Mother Nature’s way of making it easier to get through the birth canal during labor and delivery. He now has enough fat under the skin to maintain his body temperature outside the womb (with a little help from those cute outfits and swaddling blankets that you’ve been stocking up on!). You (or actually the placenta) are still providing the antibodies he’ll need to fight off infections for the first six months of his life. And if you plan on breastfeeding, your milk will be giving him more antibodies that’ll boost his immune system."

How far along? 40 weeks!! What's the deal, baby??

Maternity clothes? Pssch, this week its been babydoll dresses, maternity leggings and a nightgown 24/7 lol

Sleep: So far so good this week.

Best moment this week: Being done with the 24hr protein lab. Not that it sucked that much but let's just say... I shall never take peeing like a normal person for granted again lol

Miss Anything? So much.

Movement: Lots of kicks/ stretching on my ribs and right below. Pushing out on my side and lots of hiccups and movement in my pelvis.

Food cravings: I could live on smoothies and frozen yogurt 24/7. Luckily we are broke and therefore cannot get those things haha!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Still the meat stuff....

Gender: Boy

Labor Signs: No :( tho the last time we were at the hospital we were told that I was having contractions, I just ccouldn't feel them... also another progression but still not enough, sigh.

Symptoms: Hip and back aches, cramping, round ligament pain and rib pain from baby kicking them...

Belly Button in or out? It is pretty much permanently poking out just a bit in the center.

Wedding rings on or off? on-- and they are now officially my tools for measuring swelling (I now have to be on the lookout for high bp symptoms...)

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy but SO IMPATIENT!!!

Looking forward to: Baby's arrival! It cannot come soon enough-- I am so anxious to hold him and cuddle him and kiss him... and Jesse is officially jealous and wants HIS baby time as well haha

So here is the news: at our appointment this week we were told that there were no developments so next week they are going to induce! Of course i have been prepping myself and talking myself through the birth and possibility of a c section so those i am at ease about yet  never did i consider inducing so i am now officially anxious lol. We were sent in for high bp again- ridiculous as they took my bp after having us shut in a boiling room for 45 minutes as i got super hormonal lol... baby was fine and my bp lowered quickly after being hooked up. So our inducing looks like it'll be happening on tuesday if not monday. Were doing our best to follow advice to get baby out on his own but if he refuses, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers next week for an easy, safe delivery... and for me to relax about the whole inducing thing haha :)

Ttfn! ♥
